As outdoor recreation consultants and designers, we know that out-of-home recreation is sometimes the forgotten anchor of out-of-home entertainment; but it is very much part of the larger leisure time industry. Although in-home entertainment options for consumers have increased dramatically in recent years, enthusiasm for outdoor adventures has been resilient.
We get involved in site selection, feasibility analysis, and updating recreation offerings to encourage greater participation by core enthusiasts and new adopters. At the request of clients, we have also operated such facilities including Sport Center Las Vegas on an interim basis. Sport Center was an interim investment hold pending an overall project redevelopment effort by the facility’s owner.
Sport Center Las Vegas is a former location-based entertainment First Unit, featuring paintball, baseball batting and pitching, go-karts, and an outdoor team-building field, along with indoor event facilities, climbing wall, and food and beverage options.
